The Tinina Q. Cade Foundation Inc.

"Help Grow Families ... With Knowledge and Support"

The Tinina Q. Cade Foundation's Family Building Grant will provide up to $10,000 to needy infertile families to assist with the costs associated with infertility treatment or domestic adoption. Applications will be available at the MD (July 5th) and VA (Sept 27th) Race for the Family events, and the MD Sidewalk Art Festival (July 5th) and online from September 15th through October 4th (date they are due).  Applications will not be available at any other time or under any other circumstances.  We will hold a teleconference to provide technical support for families submitting grant applications on September 20th at 12 PM.  Call in information will be available on this page September 15th.  Below is some general information about applications, and the application submission and review processes:

The Tinina Q. Cade Foundation Selection Committee is responsible for the review of all Family Building Grant applications and makes the decision about funding. All complete applications are reviewed and considered regardless of race, religion, ethnicity or national origin.Family Building Grant Details                                                                                                                     ·         Application processing fee:  $25 per family (non-refundable).  Fee should be remitted in the form of a cashier’s check or money order made out to the Tinina Q. Cade Foundation (Must be included with completed application). Please do not send cash; ·         Grant funding will not exceed $10,000; ·         Support is considered only for couples who are US citizens with documented infertility who live and reside in the continental United States; ·         Grant will provide financial support to assist with costs associated fertility treatment or domestic adoption after January 1, 2009; ·         Grant application must provide a detailed plan of how couple will contribute to overall costs associated with fertility treatment or domestic adoption; ·         Grant MUST be used for the purposes described in the original grant application; ·         Submitted applications must be complete to be considered.  Applications missing any information or attachments will not be reviewed;
