Where We've Been:

  • Sisters Book Club- Our volunteers presented information about female reproductive health and infertility  to the club members.This complemented their reading, which focused on women's health and wellness. January 2007
  • Spreading Holiday Cheer- Volunteers from throughout the country held infocmation/ fundraising drives at local barnes and Nobels stores, November 2006.
  • Educational Seminar for Meharry and Vanderbilt medical students- Thanks to the Nashville team of volunteers for their innovative outreach activities aimed at educating medical students about infertility and fertility impairment. November 2006.
  • Young Cancer Survivorship Colloquium at George Washington Scghool of Medicine- Representing TQCF, Dr hammond spoke about fertility related outcomes in cancer survivors, Octobr 2006.
  • ASRM Participation- The Tinina Q. Cade Foundation participated in the American Society of Reproductive Medicine conference October 21-25, 2007 in New Orleans, LA.
  • Ohio Race for the Family- October 28 2007- This awareness raising and fundraising event was a HUGE success and we thank all of those who participated and volunteered at the race.  We ESPESCIALLY want to thank Panera Bread for their bagel donation.
  • Why our babies die conference- Nashville TN- Thanks to our volunteer Alexis Hammond, who lead a session on infertility and reproductive dysfunction. October 2006.
  • Infertility in Christian Women- Special Thanks to our super volunteer Mrs bernadette Morris who moderated this session which inspired all who attended.  Thanks also to Celebration Church of Columbia Maryland for hosting this important outreach activity. September 2006.
  • Maryland Race for the Family -July 2006- We held our innagural Maryland Race for the Family and had a huge kickoff for our national race series.
  • Greatness by Design radio appearance- We will be interviewed along with celebrities with fertility challenges who became parents  to talk about fertility impairment and the ways the Tinina Q. Cade Foundation is working to OVERCOME infertility!  June 22, XM radio station 169.
  • Our numbers are growing!- We now have volunteers going into communities to promote awareness about infertility in Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia, Texas, Ohio, and Tennessee.  If you are from one of these states and want us to come speak with your group- please email us at info@cadefoundation.org.  If you are in a different state and want to become a volunteer sharing the good news and information, email us at info@cadefoundation.org.

  • University of Richmond Alumnae Magazine- An article about the foundation and it's founder will be featured in the UR Alumnae Magazine in June of 2006!
  • Kinetic Wave News- The fertility related articles have been so well received that foundation staff have agreed to contribute a monthly fertility related article to the Baltimore- Washington based community focused newspaper, Kinetic Wave.
  • Ulman Foundation- Dr. Camille Hammond was asked to speak about infertility and fertility preservation for cancer survivors to members of the Ulman Foundation, a non profit organization focused on helping meet the needs and addressing the concerns of young adult cancer survivors. Her lecture is scheduled for February 4th, 2006 12pm - 3pm at the Ruscombe Mansion in Baltimore, MD. Come out to hear about this important issue!
  • American Academy of Adoption Attorneys Keynote Address- We successfully debuted at the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys conference in Washington, DC on Friday October 5, 2005.  Our founder, Dr. Camille Hammond, and Dr. Tinina Q. Cade were keynote speakers at the culminating session of the conference, discussing their experiences with infertility and gestational surrogacy.
